50 Cent and Floyd Mayweather Relationship Over; Dissolve TMT Promotions
Floyd Mayweather and 50 Cent are done.
What was supposed to be a powerful friendship that would turn into a great boxing promotion has resulted in a significant split that played out in public. 50 Cent took to twitter to announce the end of The Money Team Promotions in true Curtis Jackson fashion.
So, now TMT Promotions is SMS Promotions and boxers including Yuriorkis Gamboa, Billy Dib, and Andre Dirrell will fight under 50′s venture.
Meanwhile, it was thought that 50 Cent and Floyd Mayweather would work together to get closer to a Manny Pacquiao fight. But now, that idea is up in smoke. The undefeated Gamboa (21-0, 16KOs) will fight on the undercard of Pacquiao-Marquez on December 8, Dib (35-1, 21 KOs) will face Jayson Velez on the Miguel Cotto-Austin Trout undercard on December 1, and Andre Dirrell (20-1, 14 KOs) may be featured on the undercard of the Nonito Donaire-Jorge Ace undercard that is tentatively scheduled for December 15 in Houston.
It will be interesting to see how ugly this gets in the public line of vision as 50 Cent has already fired the opening salvo.
