Jay-Z Speaks On Hurricane Sandy’s Devastation

Submitted by on November 5, 2012 – 12:36 pmNo Comment

While celebrating his Brooklyn Nets’ first home game (against the Toronto Raptors), Jay-Z was well aware of the suffering around him caused by Hurricane Sandy.

The hip-hop mogul took to his Life & Times website and in a post titled “The Aftermath,” shared his thoughts on the natural disaster that left hundreds dead, millions without power and billions of dollars worth of damage on the East Coast.

Reflecting on the first game in Brooklyn and thinking about the hurricane.

Thinking about being undefeated and all the losses/wins that lie ahead. Life will always throw adversity and tragedy at us. We remain resilient!

Heartfelt prayers go out to those who lost their lives and to the families who continue the fight.
