Kill The Competition In The New Adidas Rose 773 “Blackout” Sneakers

Derrick Rose hasn’t played a single game for the Chicago Bulls this season because of the ACL injury that he suffered during the 2012 NBA Playoffs. But, even in his absence, his sneakers are helping keep his name alive and well. By now, you’ve no doubt started to spot players out on the court rocking Rose’s new Adidas Rose 3 signature sneaker. But, don’t sleep on the Adidas Rose 773 signature team shoe that Rose has out there as well. Specifically, make sure you keep an eye on these beautiful Adidas Rose 773 “Blackout” sneakers. They are, hands down, the best-looking pair of 773s released yet.

As you can from the photos here—and as you would probably guess—the 773 “Blackout” sneakers are, well, really, really black. All black, in fact. They feature a textured black synthetic upper, SprintWeb technology that is completely blacked-out, the Three Stripes wrapped around the heel of the sneaker in black, and even Rose’s logo done up in black. Make no mistake about it, these are “Blackout” sneakers in every single sense of the word.

With so many other sneaker companies releasing their sneakers in all-black colorways, it was only right for Adidas to give Rose’s signature kicks the same treatment. If you’re looking for a solid basketball shoe that doesn’t distract people and forces them to look at your game as opposed to constantly looking at your kicks, then the Rose 773 “Blackout” is definitely for you. These are also probably one of the few Adidas Rose sneakers that we also wouldn’t mind wearing off the basketball court as well. By doing them up in all black as opposed to, say, red and black or red and grey, Adidas makes them look like a solid shoe for pairing with some sweats this fall. So, kudos for Adidas for doing them up in this colorway. They can be purchased now for $110. Who wants a pair?
