The New Nike Lunar Force 1 Is Set To Be Released In Several Colorways
Do you love the Nike Air Force 1? Well, what if we told you that Nike has managed to make the classic AF1 even better? Yes, that’s right, even better. Would you be interested in checking it out? Then, say hello to the Nike Lunar Force 1, Nike’s fresh new take on the AF1 that is bound to get a lot of attention at the end of 2012 and well into 2013.
As you can see in the photos here, Nike has given their 30-year-old AF1 a makeover of sorts that is sure to get sneakerheads talking. By incorporating Lunar technology into the AF1 design, which is now constructed using Hyperfuse, Nike has managed to make a sneaker that looks very similar to the AF1 but with a much lighter, sportier design. If you’ve ever worn a pair of AF1s, then you know that, despite their classic design, they can be a bit clunky to wear, especially when compared to other classic Nike sneakers like the Nike Dunk. But, the Nike Lunar Force 1 alters the design just slightly and uses lighter materials in order to create a sneaker that’s light and manageable.
What do you think about Nike drastically altering their classic Air Force 1? I haven’t gotten the chance to see these in person yet. But, I’m definitely going to give these sneakers a shot when they drop on December 12 in colorways ranging from white/white to grey/red. I’m sure that there are some AF1 enthusiasts out there who will refuse to buy into the latest Nike trend of adding Lunar technology to sneakers. But, I haven’t worn AF1s much over the course of the last few years, so I welcome the opportunity to slip my feet back into a pair. Will you be doing the same? Or, do you think that Nike should have left their classic sneaker alone?
