Amy Winehouse’s Place Of Death Up For Auction
The home where Amy Winehouse passed away last year at the age of 27 is going up on the auction block.
At first Winehouse’s family listed the property for $4.2 million, but it failed to find a buyer. Located in Camden in North London, it will now be auctioned on December 3 for the lower price tag of around $2 million.
The house has had a bad run since Winehouse’s passing. Thieves broke in and stole two dresses of hers: the anchor-print frock she wore to her wedding with Blake Fielder-Civil in 2006 and a newspaper-print dress she wore on Later…With Jools Holland. The dresses were to be auctioned off for the Amy Winehouse Foundation her father launched after her death.
