Nicki Minaj Denied Entry Into Her Own Album Release Party
Nicki Minaj learned lessons on tardiness and traveling with too large of an entourage on Tuesday night when she tried to get into her album release party at Greenhouse Nightclub here in NYC. Reportedly, the rap diva was suppose to appear at the Smirnoff Iced Cake sponsored event alongside of Flo Rida and Fabolous, but was turned away at the door when she finally arrived past 3 am with a 25 member posse. A source told RadarOnline:
“She wanted to celebrate with her fans, but she was denied entry at the door by the police because they said the venue was at capacity and there was nothing they could do to accommodate her.”
According to the source, Nicki wasn’t happy about being told she could not get into her own album release party, telling RadarOnline that “she and her group just left.” In the future Nic, try arriving a little earlier and leaving some of your hangers-on at home…they weren’t with you recording in the studio.
