Selena Gomez Is The New Style Ambassador For Adidas NEO

Selena Gomez may have just suffered from a very public breakup with Justin Bieber, but the songstress is stepping ahead in some stylish sneakers of her own design.

The pop diva has been named the Style Ambassador of Adidas NEO, and it’s not just a title. As the sport brand’s new “Style Icon,” Selena will not only be the face of the brand; she will also design her own collection of apparel, which will include clothes, jewelry, and, of course, sneakers.

To introduce Selena as the new spokesperson of the brand, the company created the video below featuring the star.

“We are thrilled to announce Selena Gomez to the adidas NEO label!” the company says. “To celebrate, we took to the streets and had some fun the NEO way. Want to meet Selena? Click the link to see how: http://a.did.as/WgliVq.”

Fans are encouraged to watch the video for a chance to win an all-expense-paid trip to New York City to meet Selena for a “crazy new type of fashion show!”

Ironically, Selena’s ex Justin was also named a spokeperson for 2013 recently.

“I found a real connection with NEO because it is about fashion, freedom and being true to who you are,” the “Never Say Never” singer said back in October. “With my new album, Believe, I am spreading the message of believing in yourself. The first step is showing who you are, and one of the great ways to showcase yourself is through fashion. For me, style is an adventure, something to have fun with and NEO believes this too.”

Do you “believe” these two exes will be able to work with each other for Adidas NEO?
