Anna Nicole Smith’s 6-Year-Old Daughter Dannielynn Birkhead Models for GUESS Kids

Guess what? Well, it’s actually not that hard to figure out.

Take one look at the porcelain skin, baby blue eyes, sandy blonde tresses, and let’s not even mention the cotton candy pink pout of Dannielynn Birkhead, and it’s not hard to guess why the adorable 6-year-old is following in the footsteps of her famous mother Anna Nicole Smith.

Only five years after Anna’s untimely death from a drug overdose in 2007, Dannielynn is carrying on the Smith name as the latest model of Guess Kids.

“Dannielynn has the same playful spirit that her mother had on a set,” Paul Marciano, Creative Director for GUESS?, Inc., said recently in an official press release. “She is a second-generation GUESS girl, which makes this campaign a first for us.”

While Dannielynn might seem like a natural in front of the camera, don’t expect to see her pursue a career in the fashion industry.

“This is more of a tribute to her mother,” the tween’s father Larry Birkhead told The Buzz. “The pictures are so great and I know her mom would be so proud that it actually brought tears to my eyes. People have always asked me for her to do things, and to appear in this or that, and I’ve always said no. I just felt like because it was Guess and it was such a big part of her mom’s career, that I thought it would be positive.”

Shot in Malibu by Elliston Lutz, the photos will be part of Guess’ Spring 2013 campaign. Check out a photo of mother and daughter side-by-side. Do you think Anna would be proud of her baby girl?
