Rick Ross Was Just Named The GQ “Bawse Of The Year”
When I think of Rick Ross, the word “gentleman” definitely does not come to mind. But, nonetheless, the larger-than-life Miami rapper was just featured in the December issue of Gentleman’s Quarterly (GQ). Not for his manners, of course, but for being a boss, or to be more specific, the “Bawse of the Year.”
“It’s been a power-player year,” said the music maestro, whose newly-launched record label Maybach Music Group and latest album God Forgives, I Don’t landed him the number ten spot on The Source’s Hip-Hop Power List, a ranking Ross is sure he can improve on in 2013. “I’m the typa dude who feels like he could take number two next year. The moves I make, I ain’t never in no rush.”
With Christmas right around the corner, Ross also took a moment to share some advice with the men’s magazine.
“One, for Christmas, go get yourself an MMG tattoo,” he said. “Two, let’s all stop smoking blunts; let’s smoke out of papers. Ladies, you all should just love me. Let’s all have a beautiful year, let’s get this money.”
The GQ December “Men of the Year” issue is on sale now.
