Oh My God! Watch a Sneak Peek of TLC’s New Preacher Wives Show The Sisterhood
What would happen if The Real Housewives of Atlanta—you know, Nene Leakes, Kenya Moore, and even Kim Zolciak—went to church?
The result would be The Sisterhood, the new TLC reality series produced by True Entertainment, who are the creators behind Bravo’s RHOA. Coming to TV screens in January, The Sisterhood follows the lives of five preacher wives, Domonique Scott, Tara Lewis, Ivy Couch, Christina Murray, and DeLana Rutherford, as they catch the spirit in Atlanta, Georgia.
“We are excited to work with TLC to profile the lives of these strong-willed women,” said True Entertainment President Steven Weinstock. “With most praise in religious communities directed towards male preachers, we are thrilled to give these remarkable ladies the spotlight they crave and deserve.”
But, don’t expect to watch a bunch of women engaged in bible study and delivering baskets of supplies to homeless. These women are no angels. According to producers, “Tensions will run high as their faith and relationships are challenged through a dramatic season of disagreements, betrayal, criticism, and exposing inner demons.”
From discussing STDs, sex, and tattoos to openly revealing past drug addictions and sexual fetishes, check out the trailer for The Sisterhood below. It debuts on TLC on January 1. Will you bless the women with your attention?
