Rita Ora is definitely a diva.

Rocking a Christian Dior floral frock for the January 2013 cover of Glamour UK, it’s no surprise the Roc Nation artist touches upon other divas in her recent cover story for the magazine, “How Cool Is Rita Ora?” And, the 22-year-old kept her cool when the topic turned to the heated comparisons between herself and fellow Roc Nation artist Rihanna.

“It’s just so unnecessary,” she said, clearly irked by the line of questioning. “The most unnecessary thing I’ve ever heard, actually. I mean, last time I checked, I’ve been blonde since I was 14 years old. My inspiration has always been from old-school, classic women, so I don’t take any notice of that. She’s fun to hang out with. Don’t get me wrong: I see nothing but great times, but I think it’s time to move on now.”

One diva Rita didn’t mind talking about was Beyonce. ”She was my idol and suddenly there we were, sitting down together,” Ora recalled of meeting the “Run The World” singer. “She was the nicest, gentlest, most humble woman. There’s something really calming about talking to her. She gave me the best piece of advice anyone’s ever given me about this job—‘Keep your family close.’”

Rita may decide to keep her family close, but she’s definitely shrinking away from any love relationships and denying that she’s dating anyone…including Rob Kardashian. “I’m not going out with Rob,” she revealed. “We were close for a while, but it didn’t work because I was never there. I was like a ghost. I used to get so frustrated with myself and then wonder why I was angry, so I decided it was best to keep it friendly—especially at the moment, when there’s so much going on. In 22 years, there’s been nothing. I have had young fascinations but never love. I think it’s my only weakness. I’m scared of letting my guard down, and if I fell in love with someone now, he’d have to try ten times harder to break it down.”
