Rocawear Celebrates Jimi Hendrix With Capsule Collection
Known for fun collaborations with brands like the New York Yankees, Pac-Man, Transformers and more, Rocawear‘s now launching a capsule collection that pays tribute to Jimi Hendrix.
The clothing line has collaborated with Hendrix’s estate to release outerwear, t-shirts and wovens that celebrate the colorfulness of the artist behind the music. Despite a limited mainstream exposure of four years (he died in 1970 at the age of 27), the rock legend is widely considered to have been the greatest electric guitarist in the history of popular music and one of the most important musicians of the 20th century. Andre 3000 is set to play Hendrix in the upcoming biopic, All Is By My Side (releasing sometime next year).
The Rocawear x Jimi Hendrix collection will be available on DrJays.com for Spring 2013.
