Rick Ross and his MMG crew have canceled scheduled shows in North Carolina this weekend due to death threats from the state’s Gangster Disciples gang chapter.

Calling him “Officer Ricky” and alleging he’s part of the FEDs, the GD’s claim they’ve driven Ross (and his crew by association) out of five states: Georgia, Alabama, Florida (his home state), Tennessee and now North Carolina.

For his part, Ross is yet to directly respond to threats which are allegedly based on the rapper name-dropping the gang’s imprisoned leader, Larry Hoover, on “BMF.” Additionally, Ross put his face on the six-point star for his Bar Mitzvah mixtape, a symbol the Gangster Disciples also use.

“We pressing up on you, the whole Maybach,” the Georgia chapter said in a video from October. “We ain’t going to release this pressure on you until you release this check, Maybach, Meek Mill, everybody G. Nothing personal, but tell your boss man he got to get that check ’cause y’all in trouble.”

In an almost 10 minute video, watch the North Carolina chapter of the gang first verbally threaten Ross if he steps into their state then perform a spirited hip-hop track detailing how they let the rapper “slide the first time” and more:
