LaLa Anthony Debuts Her “5th And Mercer” Clothing Collection
LaLa Anthony may not be a castmember of Basketball Wives LA. But, the former MTV VJ and wife of New York Knickerbocker Carmelo Anthony is following in the footsteps of Draya Michele, Jackie Christie, etc. with her own clothing collection.
The 33-year-old joined forces with her stylist buddy Jason Bolden to create the designs for her new line 5th And Mercer. They chose that name because the clothing “encapsulates everything we love about New York—the chic toughness of downtown and the refinement of uptown,” she told BET News.
Jumpsuits from the Think Like A Man actress’ line have caused quite the stir in Hollywood, and starlets like Gabrielle Union, Kelly Rowland and even Tamar Braxton have already been photographed in the 5th And Mercer’s signature black jumpsuit.”We hope to create a massive collection and ultimately make it into the major retail stores,” Bolden said. “We’re excited about the road we’re on.”
