Jessica Simpson may have just announced that she is expecting baby number 2. But, before she starts eating for two, the mother of 7-month-old newborn Maxwell Drew Johnson is showing America how she rapidly shed the pounds the first time around in her new commercial for Weight Watchers.

Simpson signed on to be the face of Weight Watchers in 2012, following in the footsteps of American Idol alum and Oscar-winning actress Jennifer Hudson. “I want to be as healthy as a I can because I’m a mom now,” Simpson said of signing on to be the spokesperson of the weight-loss program. “I really didn’t want it to be about my weight because I know that everybody has their weight, their own issues. I really want it to be about the spirit with Weight Watchers and how I was feeling. I wanted to talk directly to people. I didn’t want like, the big body reveal moment. It’s not really who I am and Weight Watchers was on board with that thankfully.”

In the Weight Watchers “Expect Amazing” commercial, the 32-year-old fashion mogul and former pop star boasts of her 50-pound weight loss. “I didn’t need to be perfect to get here, to lose over 50 pounds on Weight Watchers,” Simpson says in an ad shot in the California dessert back in November. “I love food, I love life, and I had no idea I could be so in control and so free at the same time.”

Check out Simpson in her latest, which debuts on Christmas Day and first Weight Watchers commercial, “Choices,” below. Do you think Simpson’s results are “amazing”?
