All’s fair in love and fashion. But, sometimes if you can’t beat them, there’s nothing else to do but to join them.

For the Spring 2013 Versace womenswear print campaign, supermodels Joan Smalls (above), Kate Moss and Daria Werbowy enter into an epic battle of print, lace and billowy chiffon on the grounds of a dark and beautiful desert but when the ladies meet the sexy and nearly naked gladiators of the land, the women succumb to the hotness.

Shot in London by famed photographers Mert Alas and Marcus Piggot, the pictorial features gladiator sandals, statement jewelry and plenty of eye candy.  “To have three glamorous and iconic women like Kate, Daria and Joan in one campaign is not an easy feat,” said Donatella Versace in an official statement. “Mert and Marcus really outdid themselves. Each image is composed like a work of art.”
