The Nike “Christmas Pack” That You See Kobe Bryant, Kevin Durant, and LeBron James Wearing Today Will Be Available In Stores Tomorrow
Every year, the NBA rolls out a great slate of marquee matchups on Christmas Day. And, this Christmas Day is no different. From the Boston Celtics/Brooklyn Nets game at 12 p.m./EST to the Denver Nuggets/Los Angeles Clippers game at 10:30 p.m./EST, there is plenty of action that’ll take place today when you sit down in front of your TV. But, the games aren’t the only great thing that you’ll see. Because the Christmas Day NBA games have become so popular, sneakers companies like Nike have taken it upon themselves to release special Christmas sneakers every year to help celebrate the holiday.
This year, Nike is rolling out three new pairs of sneakers for their superstars as part of a “Christmas Pack.” They’ve got new colorways of the Nike Kobe VIII, the Nike KD V, and the Nike LeBron X, and all three are very, well, as you can see, colorful. They feature really bright colors splattered all across them that invoke the feeling of Christmas without simply using the traditional green and red Christmas colors.
Over the course of the last few years, these Christmas sneakers have taken on a life of their own. After Christmas, people plunk down a lot of money to get their hands on these sneakers. Are you one of those people? If so, Nike will be releasing their “Christmas Pack” bright and early on December 26 through different Nike retailers all across the nation. The Nike Kobe VIII will go on sale for $150. The Nike KD V will retail for $115. And, you’ll be able to get your hands on the LeBron X for $180. But, don’t wait. These will be hard to get once the new year rolls around. So, if you like what you see out on the court on Christmas Day, run out to your local sneaker spot and pick up a pair. It’s the perfect way to spend your Christmas cash.
