We’ve really gotta give it up for Jay-Z. This man is over 40 years old, owns a ton of different businesses, rubs elbows with some of the most powerful people in the world…and, yet, he’s still managing to make headlines for the types of sneakers that he puts onto his feet. It’s pretty incredible if you sit back and think about it. While most guys who make as much money as he does are regularly decked out in suits and wingtips, Hova loves wearing the latest kicks and isn’t afraid to take a bold stand when it comes to his sneaker game.

With that in mind, it should come as no surprise to find out that Jay got his hands onto a brand new pair of Nike KD V “DMV” sneakers recently. Jay and his wife Beyonce were spotted doing a little bit of shopping at NYC hotspots Bergdorf Goodman and Mary Arnold Toys earlier this week when we noticed that he happened to have a pair of the bright-orange “DMV” sneaks on his feet. And, while we know that Jay regularly rides for his man LeBron James, he really did his thing by cosigning these signature sneakers that represent Kevin Durant‘s love for his hometown.
