Carmelo Anthony Denies Marital Issues With Wife LaLa Anthony, Says “We’re Good”
After Carmelo Anthony‘s much-talked about on and off court run-in with Kevin Garnett, during which the Boston Celtics star allegedly told ‘Melo his wife, LaLa Anthony, “tastes like Honey Nut Cheerios,” rumors began to swirl that the couple were having marital issues. Although they haven’t been photographed out together in quite some time, ‘Melo recently attempted to squash the rumors, telling the NY Post:
“Just letting you know me and my wife have no problems. We’re good.”
When asked how he and his wife managed to spend time together in spite of their busy schedules, ‘Melo responded:
“We have our time, we have our down time. She works, I work, but we have our time. We make it work. Communication is the key.”
‘Melo and LaLa have been married for nearly three years, and have a five-year-old son, Kiyan, together. I’m glad to hear they’re doing fine, but am I’m just being hopeful because of how much I adore these two as a couple? Do you believe their marriage really is on solid ground?
