Real Housewives of Atlanta Star Kandi Burruss Is Engaged To Todd Tucker
She may have penned the hit track “The Ring Didn’t Mean A Thing” for Kim Zolciak, but Kandi Burruss is now sporting a mean ring courtesy of her new fiance Todd Tucker.
The 39-year-old line producer popped the question to the 36-year-old Real Housewives of Atlanta star on New Years Day in front of friends and family at a swanky New Year’s Eve Party with a gorgeous two-carat diamond ring by Gregg Ruth. After obtaining the blessing of her 11-year-old daughter Riley, Kandi burst into tears before saying “Yes” in front of a crowd that included Real Housewives of Atlanta co-stars Phaedra Parks and her husband Apollo Nida.
“I was totally surprised,” the Grammy Award-winning singer and songwriter said. “I used to make jokes with my friends that I [was] part of the Forever Single Club. That’s what I said before, but now I’m totally different.”
The happy couple, who met on the fourth season of the RHOA in 2011 and currently appear inseparable on the current fifth season of the hit BRAVO reality series, haven’t set a date yet. But, they plan on having more children right away.
Congratulations to Kandi and Todd! Perhaps there’s hope for Kenya Moore yet? Hmmm…
