Check Out Images Of The Nike Basketball “Black History Month” Collection
Every year, there are a bunch of different “Black History Month” sneakers. So, now that we’re only about a half a month away from the start of Black History Month, it should come as no surprise to see that images of this year’s crop of “Black History Month” sneakers are starting to pop up. But, you might be surprised to see what Nike Basketball has in store for you this year, if you’re interested in scooping up a pair of their “Black History Month” sneakers.
As you’d probably expect, Nike Basketball is offering up a special “Black History Month” collection this year that will feature the Nike Kobe 8, the Nike KD V, and the Nike LeBron X done up in a “Black History Month” colorway. But, unlike in past years, Nike Basketball is not using an all-black colorway or any black at all in the sneakers that they’ve come up with for 2013. Instead, the sneakers feature orange accents and a special print on the upper part of each sneaker that blends black, brown, and grey colors to create a pretty unique design. It’s a fresh take on the “Black History Month” theme and makes these sneakers unlike most of the other “Black History Month” sneakers that will be dropping next month.
If you want to get a pair, all three of these will be dropping on January 26 at select Nike stores. The prices are all TBD, but you can probably expect to pay somewhere in the $100 to $180 range for each sneaker. And, if you want them, you’d better scoop them up fast, because like all of the special Nike collections that drop, these are going to go fast. So, what do you think? Will you be buying a pair of “Black History Month” sneakers when they drop, or are you going to hold out for the next collection that Nike comes up with? Check out some more photos below and then let us know.
