Jared Leto is blazing, scorching, and smoking red hot!
The lead singer of the band Thirty Seconds to Mars, who shot to fame as the star of the hit ’90s television series My So Called Life opposite Claire Danes, is the newest face of Hugo Boss’ cologne Hugo Red. Joining the ranks of previous spokesmen Ryan Reynolds (The Green Lantern), Leto stars in the new commercial for the menswear brand and it’s 36 seconds of pure excellence.
The commercial begins with the actor strutting his stuff in a sleek suit before he is rendered frozen in his tracks by a bunch of red traffic lights. “Stopping won’t get you anywhere,” he says as he stares the lights down and pops open a bottle of the cologne. “Red means go!”
BAM! And, just like that, the lights shatter and a path is cleared for the hunk to keep it moving as he utters, “Hugo Red. The daring new fragrance for men.”
