The latest Candie Girl is ready to rock your world!
Canadian singer Carly Rae Jepsen is absolutely adorable as the newest face of Candie’s Spring 2013 campaign, following in the footsteps of former Candie’s spokeswomen Vanessa Hudgens, Britney Spears, Fergie, and, most recently, Glee star Lea Michelle. ”I feel very honored to be the next Candie’s girl,” the “Call Me Maybe” singer said in an official statement. “It’s a dream come true to be in the company of such amazing women!”
Unlike her predecessors, the 27-year-old tour mate of Justin Bieber is not just the face of Candie’s. But, she’s the photographer as well, making her the first celebrity spokesperson to ever shoot her own campaign. ” The photo-shoot was really fun because it was so different,” Jepsen raved. “I’m actually the photographer as well and can’t wait to share it with my fans!”
Posing in a Valentine’s Day-inspired pink frock with heart cutouts, sheer blouses, and pale pink blazers, the clothes seem to be right up the singer’s alley. “I love florals,” she told Seventeen. “Prints on prints on prints! Candie’s has these pastel blouses that I’m obsessed with. A wedge heel does it all for me. Height, comfort, and style. They give me ability to move on stage without bailing and meet for a dinner date straight after!”
