Ashton Kutcher goes to work in the first official clip from jOBS.

Set to premiere at the Sundance Film Festival in Park City, Utah today, the indie film follows the rise of the Apple founder from a college dropout to one of the most powerful innovators of new technology. In the video preview below, Kutcher does a spot-on job channeling Jobs while explaining to Steve Wozniak (Josh Gad) the thrilling possibility of a new “operating system.”

‘This is freedom!” Kutcher says as Jobs in a Hewlett-Packard parking garage set in the 1970s. “This is freedom to create, and to do and to build, as artists, as individuals.”

Gad’s response: “Look. You’re overreacting. Even if you were developing this for freaks like us, and I doubt you are, nobody wants to buy a computer…nobody.”

Starring Kutcher, Gad, Dermot Mulroney, James Woods, Amanda Wood, and Luke Haas, jOBS opens in theaters on April 19.
