Mama knows best. Or, does she? We’ll soon find it.

After months of hearing the rumor mill churning, the news is officially in: Kris Jenner is set to host her own talk show come Summer 2013. The momager of Kim, Khloe, Kourtney, and Robert Kardashian and Kendall and Kylie Jenner will follow in the footsteps of Wendy Williams and fellow reality star star Bethenny Frankel (Real Housewives of New York) by launching her hour-long talk show on Fox Television Stations and Twentieth Television.

Kris hopes to “bring a cool blast of fun and high energy to summer television,” says Fox executive Stephen Brown in an official press release for the show. “Whether offering real advice to her family or sharing personal moments with viewers, Kris is honest, compelling, entertaining, and unscripted—all excellent qualities for a daytime talk show host.”

For the 57-year-old matriarch—heralded as a “dedicated mom and successful business woman” by the network—the talk show is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. “This is something I have wanted to do all my life so it’s definitely a dream come true!” she gushed. “I can’t wait for this new adventure to begin.”

This isn’t the first time Kris Jenner has tried her hand at hosting a talk show. The Keeping Up With The Kardashians star has fulfilled co-hosting duties on NBC’s Today, CBS’ The Talk and ABC’s The View. Watch Kris in action below. Are you excited to watch her talk show when it debuts this summer?
