The FILA Grant Hill II Retro Sneaker Is Back Again
Last week, we told you about how Jerry Stackhouse has been spotted wearing different colorways of his FILA Stackhouse sneakers during Brooklyn Nets games this season. But, in that post, we talked a little bit about how much FILA has fallen off when it comes to basketball sneakers in recent years. Once upon a time, a pair of FILA sneakers really meant something to basketball players. They picked them up as their basketball sneaker of choice and balled both indoors and outdoors in FILAs. But, these days, it feels like FILA’s best days are in the past, at least when it comes to basketball sneakers.
That doesn’t mean we don’t have any love for FILA right now, though, because we most definitely do, especially when it comes to a pair of retro sneakers that they just put out again. Recently, FILA announced that they were bringing the FILA Grant Hill II back to stores and, now, you can see exactly what you’ll be getting when you pick up a pair. As you can see, the FILA Grant Hill II features the same classic red, white, and blue colorway that it did when it dropped back in the late 1990s. There’s also an all-black version of the FILA Grant Hill II floating around out there as well, for those of you who preferred that colorway back in the day.
If you’re interested in picking up the FILA Grant Hill II sneaker now, you can buy it at select FILA retailers across the country. What do you think about what FILA is doing right now with some of its older signature sneakers? We love the fact that they’re re-releasing them now and think that they need to continue doing it. These are classic sneakers for anyone in their late 20s or early 30s, and we’re sure that the younger generation will appreciate them as well. Don’t you agree?
