Listen To Justin Bieber’s Break-Up Song, “Nothing Like Us,” About Selena Gomez

No joke, my eyes welled up just a bit listening to Justin Bieber’s new song “Nothing Like Us.”

Blame it on the fact that I am a thirty-year-old single female living in New York City with no Valentine in sight (February 14th is totally looming over my head!), but the acoustic ballad about the Canadian’s pop star’s recent break-up with Selena Gomez definitely pulled at my heartstrings.

“Lately, I been thinkin’ ’bout what we had,” Bieber sings. “I know it was hard/It was all we knew/Have you been drinking to take all the pain away?/I wish I could give you what you deserve/’Cause nothing can ever, ever replace you/Nothing can make me feel like you do. I gave you everything, babe/Well, everything I had to give/Girl, why would you push me away?”

The 18-year-old debuted the song exclusively on Billboard.com and opened up about his on-again, off-again relationship with the pop princess. “At the end of the day, there’s nothing like us, you know? That’s just it. It is what it is. People are going to relate to that,” he confessed. “I’m not in the happiest place that I’ve ever been. I’m trying to get through what I’m going through….[but] I have my really close friends to cheer me up and keep me going.”

Listen to “Nothing Like Us” below off of Beiber’s latest album, Believe Acoustic. Kleenex, anyone?

  • I know this if off topic but I’m looking into starting
my own blog and was wondering what all is required to get set up?
I’m assuming having a blog like yours would cost a pretty penny?
I’m not very web savvy so I’m not 100% positive.
Any tips or advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

  • With havin so much content and artiles do you ever runn into any
issues of plagorism or copyright violation? My website has a lot of completely
unique content I’ve either written myself or outsourced but it
seems a lot of it is popping it up all over the internet without my permission.
Do you know any ways to help protect against content from being ripped off?
    I’d definitely appreciate it.
