Which NFL Team Has The Best Odds Of Winning Super Bowl XLVIII Next Year?

You know what the worst part of the Super Bowl is? The day after. No, it’s not because you have to go to work with a massive hangover induced by all the food, beer, and other goodies that you no doubt inhaled on Sunday. It’s because the Super Bowl marks the end of the football season. There won’t be anymore football for at least six more months! It really, really sucks and leaves us wondering, “What are we going to do every Sunday afternoon from now on?!” Ahhhh! Seriously, yesterday was one of the worst days of the year.

Fortunately, just because the football season ends doesn’t mean that we have to stop talking about it. In fact, right now might be the best time to talk about football. Since no games are being played, we’re all free to speculate as much as we want. And, that’s what the sportsbooks in Las Vegas are doing right now. Although the 2012-13 NFL season just ended, they’ve already released odds for the 2013-14 NFL season and indicated which teams they think will be in the hunt for a win at Super Bowl XLVIII in New York/New Jersey next February. So, who’s it going to be?

Well, somewhat curiously, the sportsbooks again give the New England Patriots the best chance to win the Super Bowl (they were also favored last year). They are at 6-to-1 odds at most Las Vegas sportsbooks. Right behind them are the San Francisco 49ers at 7-to-1 odds. Behind them are the Denver Broncos at 8-to-1 odds. And…well, allllllllllll the way at the bottom of the list are the Oakland Raiders and Jacksonville Jaguars, who both have 150-to-1 odds. To see where your team falls, check out the complete list of 2014 Super Bowl odds below.

Who do you think has the best chance to win the championship next season? We won’t find out for another year, but it’s never too early to start talking about it.
