Kendall & Kylie Jenner Confess To Glamour: “We Don’t Desire To Be Kardashians.”
They may be stars on the hit E! reality series Keeping Up With The Kardashians, but Kendall and Kylie Jenner have no aspirations to be Kardashians themselves. “We’re full-throttle Jenners!” the girls confessed in the latest issue of Glamour magazine. “We don’t have any desire to be Kardashians.”
The youngest sisters to Kim, Khloe, Kourtney, and Robert Kardashian opened up about their famous family, the show that made them a household name, and the price of fame. “Our family is closer because of the show. And when we are older, we’ ll have the memories on tape. If some of those moments hadn’t been filmed, I wouldn’t remember them,” Kylie said, as Kendall explained the downside of the limelight. “We appreciate everything that we have, but we don’t remember what it’s like to be normal kids who aren’t harassed by the paparazzi. I hate that.”
“We’re underage girls,” Kendall continued. “I don’t want to be followed by random men I don’t know. It can also be hard to deal with other kids who are jealous or mean. I can’t post a picture on Instagram without being criticized.”
Luckily, the ladies admit they never have to go far to get advice when times get hard. “If we’re fighting, we call Khloé,” said Kendall. “She’s our peacemaker. Kourtney keeps us down-to-earth.”
Added Kylie, “Kim teaches us how to deal with the spotlight. Rob checks on me at least three times a day, and Lamar [Odom] wants to meet any guy we’re talking to. Just yesterday Scott [Disick] was going over the kind of guy I should date.”
