The Nike “Super Bowl Trophy” Pack Helps Celebrate The End Of The 2012-13 NFL Season
Last week, the Baltimore Ravens hoisted the Lombardi Trophy into the air after defeating the San Francisco 49ers in Super Bowl XLVII. It was a special moment for Ray Lewis & Co. and we’re pretty sure that there are a few members of the Ravens who are still spending QT with the Lombardi Trophy. After all, it’s the one thing that every single player in the NFL trains so hard for every offseason. So, it’s only right for the Ravens to protect and cherish it for the next 365 days as a way of celebrating their very special 2012-13 NFL season.
They’re not the only ones celebrating the end of the season with a “Lombardi Trophy,” though. Although Nike doesn’t actually have a Lombardi Trophy of their own, they did win big this season when they started making the uniforms, sneakers, gloves, and accessories for the NFL. So, they’re having a celebration of sorts right now with their Nike “Super Bowl Trophy” Pack that features three different sneakers—the Nike 1972 QB, the Nike Trainer Clean Sweep Low, and the Nike Field General—that were all designed with the Lombardi Trophy in mind. As you can clearly see, all three of them are silver, clean, and super shiny just like the Lombardi Trophy.
The Clean Sweep Low and Field General sneakers have already been released to the public and will probably be hard to land right now. But, the 1972 QS will be available at several Nike retailers on Friday. So, if you want to celebrate Nike’s new relationship with the NFL one final time before the offseason, do whatever it takes to pick up a pair. One thing is for sure: You will definitely turn a few heads with these things on your feet. And, you’ll probably make Ray Lewis jealous if he ever catches you in a pair of these Lombardi Trophy sneakers. How cool is that?
