After nearly a decade of having a horrific looking “spinner” belt, the WWE has decided to switch to a new look with Wrestlemania heading towards a likely Rock vs. Cena II match. Albeit strange considering that The Rock has only held the WWE title for a month while CM Punk had to drag the waist debacle around for nearly 500 days. Nevertheless, The Rock has the ability to do what he wants, when he wants. So, at Monday Night Raw, Rock trashed the look of the old belt by calling it a toy and unveiled a new belt that looks like something that Johnny Dang would make.

As you can see, the new WWE title belt is a shiny looking thing. Thank God it doesn’t spin, but it doesn’t look all that regal either. It still looks cartoonish and fitting for a cartoonish wrestler like Cena. And, as we all know, it’s a lock that Rocky will drop the strap to Cena so he can begin yet another title run.

Boring.

What would be better is that Rock beats Cena, Cena snaps and goes total heel. Or, Cena goes heel in victory. Or something.

Either way, that’s the new belt. Love it or leave it?
