Starter Wives Confidential Cancelled, Cast Members Deny 50 Cent Got Show Axed

Fans of the TLC reality show Starter Wives Confidential were given some unexpected news over the weekend. The network has yanked the show from its lineup, with the remaining episodes going straight to TLC’s website. Although many speculated that the legal issues that have plagued the show since it was announced were behind the show’s cancellation, rapper 50 Cent took to Twitter the other day to take full credit for the show’s abrupt end after only a few episodes, saying:
“I want to apologize to cast of Starter Wives for having the show pulled off the net work (sic). i sincerely hope you find work.”
While it is true that 50 blocked his ex Shaniqua Tompkins from appearing on the show, Starter Wives cast members Tashera Simmons and Josie Harris are calling foul over his claim that he got the entire show pulled. Even Shaniqua, who has a teenage son with the hip-hop star, took to Twitter the other day to set the record straight by saying:
“Wrong Channel! Wrong demographics! That’s it! You are not God! Your day is coming!”
Fifty is funny like that…he takes credit for EVERYTHING!! The next thing you know, he’ll be taking credit for the creation of the heavens and the Earth.
