Nate Robinson Wore A Pair Of Nike Air Yeezy II Sneakers During An NBA Game This Week
What would you do with a pair of Nike Air Yeezy II sneakers if you were able to get your hands on them? If you’re like most people, you’d probably take them out of the box, look at them, maybe put them onto your feet, and then put them right back into the box and stick them in a very, very safe part of your closet (possibly in a fireproof safe). Those things are super hard to get, so you wouldn’t want to risk scuffing them up by actually wearing them outside. And, you definitely wouldn’t want to wear them to do any kind of physical activity. Can you imagine the looks you’d get from people if you wore them to play ball or skate? They’d beat you up for being so crazy.
Well, as it turns out, Chicago Bulls guard Nate Robinson is that crazy. And, as a result of his craziness, he was spotted rocking a pair of Air Yeezy IIs during the Bulls game against the San Antonio Spurs the other night. Something tells us they weren’t all that comfortable, though. Because, shortly after he started off with the Yeezy IIs on his feet, he switched into a pair of Air Jordans and left the Yeezy IIs behind in his locker. That’s right—he didn’t even get a whole game out of them!
Check out a shot of Nate Rob rocking the Yeezy II (as well as a shot of him wearing the Jordans) during the game below. We understand that he’s rich and probably has a closet full of these things at home. But, do you think he’s an idiot for rocking his Yeezy IIs during a game and messing them up? Or, do you applaud him for saying, “%&^$ it,” and rocking a pair of $2000 sneakers during a road game? Let us know below. We’ll be over here weeping silently as we think about how we’ll never get the chance to make the decision that Robinson ultimately made.
