Nicki Minaj Nearly Walks Off American Idol
Nicki Minaj continues to make waves on the set of American Idol. On Thursday night, the colorful rapper wasn’t happy when AI contestant Curtis Finch, Jr. (previously considered a fan-favorite) was eliminated. When host Ryan Seacrest whittled the remaining ten aspiring singers to the bottom two (including Curtis), Nicki vowed to go home if the 25-year-old St. Louis, Missouri native got the boot. “Curtis, if you go home. I go home…I definitely think Curtis should not be in the bottom two,” Nicki said. “I mean — come on, America, are you kidding me?”
When the unavoidable happened, Nicki got up from her chair, only to sit back down a few moments later (and who can blame her? She’s getting paid millions of dollars just to sit, argue with Mariah, and voice her sometimes all-over-the-place opinion). Check out the drama in the video below.
