Michael Jordan has a ton of different interests outside of the basketball arena. In addition to owning the Charlotte Bobcats and serving as one of the faces of the NBA, MJ also enjoys golf, gambling, and motorcycles. And, he enjoys the last one listed there so much that he has his very own motorsports team called Michael Jordan Motorsports that is celebrating its 10th anniversary in 2013. And, how are they celebrating? Well, by blending a bike with one of MJ’s other loves—sneakers—in order to create special Suzuki motorcycles that have been inspired by the Air Jordan XX8 that dropped recently.

As you can see, the new Suzuki bikes that were just created for Michael Jordan Motorsports riders Danny Eslick and Roger Hayden feature paint jobs that mimic the “Blue Shroud” colorway of the Air Jordan XX8. They’ll make their debut this weekend when Eslick and Hayden jump on their bikes at the Daytona International Speedway to take part in Michael Jordan Motorsports inaugural Daytona Beach 200. And, if all goes well, they’ll help propel the MJM team to a victory.

“The whole MJM team is looking forward to Daytona,” Kreig Robinson, the Vice President of Corporate Relations for MJM, said recently. “We expect solid results from Danny and Roger in AMA Pro National Guard Superbike, and we’re excited about James racing the Daytona 200 for the first time. Additionally, we look forward to supporting Corey [Alexander, an MJM teammate] in AMA SuperSport. Overall, 2013 is a landmark season for MJM as we reflect on the significance of a successful decade in road racing and the unlimited potential of the future.”

Eslick’s bike was featured on the Skydeck on top of the Willis Tower in Chicago this week. Take a look at some images of it below. Do you like the way that the MJM team incorporated the “Blue Shroud” colorway into the mix?
