Club Says Chris Brown And Drake Should Pay If Tony Parker Wins Brawl Lawsuit
The owners of W.i.P nightclub, where Drake and Chris Brown infamously brawled last year, are determined not to pay up in the lawsuit brought against them by Tony Parker. The NBA star is suing the SoHo hot spot for $20 million over an eye injury he claims he suffered during the bottle throwing altercation, which allegedly occurred over Chris’ now on-again girlfriend, Rihanna.
W.i.P’s owners are adamant that Drake and Chris are the ones responsible for Tony’s injuries, and have requested that the duo be made to pay if the San Antonio Spurs point guard wins his lawsuit. According to TMZ:
“…the owners of W.i.P. (who are facing several lawsuits) filed docs last week in New York saying Parker’s beef should be with Brown and Drake … claiming they were the ones who ‘contributed to, instigated, participated and/or engaged’ in the fight.
The club wants any and all damages awarded to Parker to come from Brown and Drake.”
In a related lawsuit filed by French model Romain Julien, who was also allegedly injured during the brawl, Chris and Drake have both filed court papers arguing why the other should be held financially responsible. A lot of finger-pointing is going on in these lawsuits, but at the end of the day, someone is going to end up writing some big checks.
