“Bow down, bitches!”

Just to be clear, those are Beyonce‘s words, not ours. The 31-year-old pop diva returns to the radio airwaves with a fresh single that delivers a clear message to her competitors: “The throne ain’t big enough for the both of us.” Apparently, King Bey ain’t taking no prisoners and posted a brand spanking new song titled “Bown Down/I Been On” on SoundCloud on Sunday afternoon.

Produced by Hit-Boy, the young talent responsible for Jay-Z and Kanye West‘s “N—-s In Paris,” “Bow Down/I Been On” finds the Texan not afraid to declare her dominance while dropping a few expletives. “I know when you were little girls, you dreamed of being in my world,” Beyonce sings. “Don’t forget it, don’t forget it, respect that. I took some time to live my life, but don’t think I’m just his little wife.”

Beyonce continues, referring to the time she spent away from the studio while pregnant with her daughter Blue Ivy. “Don’t get it twisted, get it twisted,” she sings, “this my s—, bow down, bitches.”

While there is no word on whether or not the track will appear on Beyonce’s forthcoming fifth solo album, it is interesting to hear what the songstress, who will embark on the “The Mrs. Carter Show” world tour beginning in April, has been working on.

Listen to “Bow Down/I Been On” below. What do you think of Bey’s new sound?
