Over the weekend, we told you about the new Reebok Classics “Whites” Collection that Reebok will be releasing this Friday. As you would probably expect just by looking at the name of the collection, it features all-white makeups of a handful of different Reebok Classics sneakers, including the Reebok Question, the Reebok DMX 10, and the Reebok Phase 1. It’s all part of the Live White Hot campaign that Reebok is pushing right now. They want everyone to be wearing all-white sneakers this spring, and they want them to be Reebok Classics. It’s not the most groundbreaking campaign, but they are pushing the all-white thing hard.

As part of that campaign, Reebok just enlisted one of their celebrity endorsers Rick Ross to shoot a commercial with his personal chef in order to sell the Live White Hot idea. As you’ll see, the commercial features Ross waking up one morning and retreating to his backyard to eat some breakfast, read the newspaper, and take it easy before embarking on a new day. He’s outfitted in—you guessed it!—a pair of all-white Reebok sneakers. But, things take a turn for the worst when his personal chef makes a terrible mistake and ruins his crispy kicks before he’s even had a chance to break them in. We won’t spoil the surprise for you, but Ross has a pretty funny reaction to the slip-up.

Check out the new commercial for the Live White Hot campaign below. With Reebok making a big push to get their all-white sneakers out there just in time for spring, are you planning on picking up a pair? Or, do you think you’ll stick with your all-white Nike sneakers again this year? Let us know once you check out the Rick Ross commercial below. It’ll be interesting to see how much of an impact Reebok has on the sneaker community this year once they get their “Whites” collection out into the public.
