Unlike most divas her age, Rita Ora shirks stilettos on stage (and off!) and instead struts her stuff in a variety of pumped-up kicks. So, it was no surprise when Superga tapped the 22-year-old British singer last November to be the face of their new Spring/Summer advertisement 2013 campaign.

In the new campaign for the Italian footwear brand, the Kosovo-born artist discovered by Jay-Z and signed to Roc Nation shows off her sassy soles and signature red lips in the studio and next to the piano where she pens her hits. “I love being comfortable and I live in flats,” the singer told Elle magazine. “Superga trainers are like a blueprint that every girl should have in her wardrobe because you can go as glamorous as you like but still be cool and comfortable. For me that’s the perfect mix.”

The “How We Do” singer replaces fashionista Alexa Chung as the new brand ambassador for Superga, which celebrated its centenary in 2011. And, it seems Rita couldn’t be more pleased with her new gig. “It’s such a great brand and it kind of represents my personality,” she said. “It’s very chilled out, it’s very chilled back and it’s very comfortable.”
