Alicia Keys may be a girl on fire. But, how exactly does the Grammy Award-winning singer burn off the calories in order to keep that impeccable shape? The new mom to 2-year-old son Egypt revealed her workout regime in the new Reebok video series, “Live With Fire Project,” and unlike most stars will lead you to believe, Alicia admits that staying in shape is a constant struggle.

“It’s really hard to motivate myself to workout in the mornings,” the 32-year-old singer says in the video. “I don’t want to get out of bed. I am not going to lie and say that it’s easy and I just pop up. Probably, I’m laying in bed for a good 15 or 20 minutes and I’m just trying to convince myself that I can do it. Some days I fail and I turn around and go back to sleep—and I get my extra 10 minutes.”

Keys, who recently designed a line of sneaker wedges for Reebok with her husband Swizz Beatz, does manage to get 50 crunches and 50 push ups done throughout the day, even while she traverses the globe on her “Set The World On Fire” Tour.

“Working out and being able to have time to do that does help everything else,” says Keys. “I get to feel my strength grow and you feel proud of yourself.”

Watch Alicia get her “Fit Mind. Fit Body. Fit Spirit.” in the “Live With Fire Project” video below. Are you inspired to “live with fire” and burn some calories?
