Kirsten Dunst Calls Kissing Brad Pitt In Interview With The Vampire “Disgusting”

For millions of women around the world, kissing Brad Pitt would be a dream come true. And, it’s not hard to figure out why. With his blonde hair, blue eyes, and rugged good looks, the 49-year-old actor is certainly easy on the eyes and, as a result, Pitt has been named as People‘s Sexiest Man Alive twice (1995 & 2000).

Yet, that didn’t stop Kirsten Dunst from confessing that swapping spit with the hunk was more like a nightmare. In a recent interview with Bullett magazine, the 30-year-old actress confessed that her kiss with Pitt during the Oscar-nominated 1994 adaptation of Anne Rice’s novel Interview with the Vampire was memorable for all the wrong reasons.

“It was just a peck,” said Dunst, who was only 11 when the movie was filmed. “Everyone at the time was like, ‘You’re so lucky you kissed Brad Pitt,’ but I thought it was disgusting. I didn’t kiss anyone else until I was 16, I think. I was a late bloomer.”

Dunst, who rose to fame with starring roles in Bring It On, The Virgin Suicides, Dick, and Drop Dead Gorgeous, does however have fond memories of playing Mary Jane in the Sam Raimi Spider-Man trilogy, which garnered the actress a Golden Globe nomination and grossed $2.5 billion worldwide.

“I wish we could have done a fourth movie,” says Dunst. “We were like a family. Plus, those movies gave me the means to not work as much, help my family, and do little indie projects that I made no money on. To many people, I’m still ‘that girl from Spider-Man.’”
