This Is The End WINS With A Hilarious April Fools Day Trailer

Yesterday, many eager fans clicked a link for what claimed to be a trailer for Pineapple Express 2- a completely unexpected, unannounced sequel to 2008′s Judd Apatow-produced stoner hit. The clip turned out to be viral marketing for the upcoming This Is The End, due out in June; but that doesn’t mean the video was a disappointment.

This Is The End is about a group of celebrities, including comedy stalwarts Seth Rogen, Jay Baruchel, Jonah Hill, Craig Robinson, and Danny McBride, attending a party at James Franco‘s house. Then, the Apocalypse happens- and I guess they entertain themselves during the End Days by making movie trailers for fake sequels. How about Baruchel as Katherine Heigl in Knocked Up 2?

The film has obviously assembled a huge amount of talent (not to mention all the celebs listed on IMDB, who presumably meet their maker early on, including Jason Segel, Paul Rudd, Aziz Ansari, Emma Watson, Mindy Kaling, Kevin Hart, and the Backstreet Boys). And a previous trailer similarly showed that these guys can be pretty hilarious just messing around with each other- Rogen and Franco figuring out how to live in a bunker together, and McBride refusing to believe that the worst has really happened.

So hopefully, This Is The End ultimately turns out this kind of freewheeling comedy, without letting the film get too aimless.

What do you think of the first look at the film?

  • First of all I would like to say excellent blog! I had a
quick question which I’d like to ask if you don’t mind. I was interested to
know how you center yourself and clear your thoughts
before writing. I’ve had a difficult time clearing my thoughts in getting my ideas out.

I do take pleasure in writing but it just seems like the first 10 to 15 minutes
are usually wasted simply just trying to figure out how to begin. Any recommendations
    or tips? Kudos!

Please consult with the following car insurance booklets for insurance policies beginning or renewed

you and who works out how a lot you should pay to your insurance.
