Tyreke Evans Reportedly Inspired This New Supra Pilot Sneaker
Sacramento Kings guard Tyreke Evans has had a pretty underwhelming NBA career thus far. Although part of that is due to the fact that he’s been stuck on some bad teams with the Sacramento Kings, Evans hasn’t been the dominant force that many expected him to be when he first came into the league. So, with that in mind, he doesn’t have his own signature sneaker yet. He probably won’t have one anytime soon, either, unless he signs in a bigger market and starts putting on a better show out on the court. However, he did recently inspire a new Supra sneaker that is a welcome addition to the Supra line of sneakers.
The Supra Pilot “Evans” that you see here is not officially a Tyreke Evans sneaker. But, sneaker blogs have concluded that it was, in fact, inspired by Evans because of its name and the fact that it includes the Sacramento Kings colors. The Pilot “Evans” features the Kings purple-and-black scheme as well as a suede and canvas upper, an all-white outer sole, and Supra brand on the tongue and heel of the sneaker. We wouldn’t expect to see Evans rock these on the court anytime soon, considering that they’re not made for basketball, but we wouldn’t be surprised to see him show up to a game wearing them.
If you want a pair—or, if you’re just a diehard Kings fan with a closet full of Kings throwbacks—the Pilot “Evans” is available now for $95. Do you think that Tyreke will be spotted wearing a pair of these? Or, do you think that the “Evans” name is just a coincidence? Either way, he should pick up a pair for himself, because it’s not like other sneaker companies are banging down his door right now. So, he would be smart to take advantage of this Supra sneaker and show it off while he can.
