Beyonce Shows Off Her Taut Tummy For British Vogue: “I Am More Bold & Fearless Than Ever!”
Beyonce is the hardest working woman in show business—and she has the battle wounds to prove it.
The 31-year-old, who is set to embark on her forthcoming world tour “The Mrs. Carter Show,” later this month, covers British Vogue and speaks about what it takes to put on a spectacular show.
“I’m always bruised somewhere—my legs, my hips,” she said. “But you’ve already started so you’ve just gotta fight through it.”
Showing off her awesome post-baby abs in a Jonathan Saunders baby blue crop top and sequin skirt on the front of the UK magazine, Beyonce confesses she has never been this confident. “I feel like Mrs Carter is who I am, but more bold and more fearless than I’ve ever been,” Bey said. “It comes from knowing my purpose and really meeting myself once I saw my child. I was like, ‘OK, this is what you were born to do’. The purpose of my body became completely different.”
Shot by famed photographer Mario Testino, inside the magazine the “Run The World (Girls)” singer rocks it out in a powder pink Chanel waffle sweatshirt and black Nina Ricci bikini briefs and talks girl power. “But I guess I am a modern-day feminist,” she said. “I do believe in equality. Why do you have to choose what type of woman you are? Why do you have to label yourself anything? I’m just a woman and I love being a woman…I do believe in equality and that we have a way to go and it’s something that’s pushed aside and something that we have been conditioned to accept.”
