Is The Nike Air Yeezy 2 Going To Be Available In An All-Red Colorway Soon?

Last Monday, we were bombarded with posts on sneaker blogs about “new” Nike Air Yeezy 2 colorways. It was April 1 so, of course, none of those colorways actually existed. But, for a few minutes, it was fun to think of all the other colorways that Nike could use to create an updated version of the Yeezy 2. But, surely, they’re not going to actually do it, right? It seems like it’s almost time for them to start thinking about a Yeezy 3 at this point. Or, is it?

On Friday, a photo of a bright-red Air Yeezy 2 started making the rounds on the Internet. It was uploaded on Instagram along with a caption that read, “maybe it is the next yeezy2 cop or not?” And, while it doesn’t appear that it was uploaded by anyone that is associated with Nike, it does appear to be a real Yeezy 2. So, did someone just customize a Yeezy 2 to get the hypebeasts going nuts, or is this red Yeezy 2 really going to drop sometime in the near future and join the “Pure Platinum” and “Solar Red” colorways that already exist?

As of right now, no one knows for sure. Nike has been notoriously tight-lipped when it comes to the Yeezy sneakers, so we wouldn’t be surprised if we never got a straight answer. But, for now, it looks like there could be a third colorway added to the Yeezy 2 lineup at some point in the future. We’ll just have to keep a close eye out and see if any other photos of it out in the wild turn up.

In the meantime, would you be interested in buying an all-red Yeezy 2? Or, do you think that this is a little bit too much red for one sneaker? Leave us a comment and let us know. Best comment wins a pair of this Yeezy 2 when it drops. Er…okay, just kidding. But, feel free to leave a comment anyway!
