Beyonce embraces her past in the new Pepsi commercial, “Mirrors,” and we must say the whole thing is quite smashing!

The 31-year-old pop superstar and spokesmodel for the brown bubbly beverage debuted the commercial this week and it was a blast from the past in the best way possible. In less than a minute, King Bey sashays through 10 years of her previous musical video fashion highs from the simple white tank tank, denim cutoffs, and red pumps in “Crazy In Love” to the black leotard and futuristic glove featured in “Single Ladies.”

“There isn’t an artist more in the now than Beyoncé,” says Brad Jakeman, president of Global Beverage Group PepsiCo, in the just released behind-the-scenes video below. “She is one of the world’s truly iconic artists.”

Other amazing looks included the gorgeous fluffy green skirt and bra top from “Deja Vu” and the coveted Isabel Marant sneaker wedges, black bodysuit, and band hat from “Love On Top.”

“It felt so emotional when I was trying on all the costumes from my past,” Beyonce says. “I was surrounded by so much of my history, especially on the 10th anniversary of ‘Crazy In Love.’”

In case you’ve been living under a rock, watch the original commercial and go behind-the-scenes of “Mirrors,” which features a clip of Beyonce’s upcoming single, “Grown Woman,” below. Do you think it’s a smash?
