Source: Kris Humphries Settled Divorce Battle With Kim Kardashian Because He “Feels Sorry For Her”

As we previously reported, after nearly a year and a half of battling to end a marriage that lasted a mere 72 days, Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries are officially over. An announcement that the duo had come to an agreement on the terms of their divorce was made last week, with Kris reportedly receiving no money from the reality TV starlet per their prenuptial agreement.

Although he fought tooth and nail to prove fraud in their marriage, a source told RadarOnline that Kris finally decided to give up on the situation because he “just feels sorry for her.” “She’s pregnant and obviously under a lot of stress. He didn’t want to be part of it any more,” the source said.

Another source told RadarOnline that Kris finally came to the realization that it would be impossible for him to prove fraud in his marriage with Kim, and decided to pull out before things got even messier than they already are. The source said:

“He also realized that he didn’t have a chance in hell of proving that Kim defrauded him. In the end, his lawyers were able to finally make him recognize that not only would he be missing out on the playoffs with the Nets, but would likely be ordered to pay Kim’s legal fees. Kris recognized it was a sh*t sandwich and chose to settle.”

A “sh*t sandwich” is a way of putting it, but the fact that he drew this out as long as he did makes him a sh*t head.
