Jordan Brand Athletes Will Wear These Jordan PE Sneakers During The 2013 NBA Playoffs
We’ve told you in the past about all of the perks that come along with being a Jordan Brand athlete. From free Air Jordan sneakers to meetings with Michael Jordan himself, there are a lot of advantages to aligning yourself with the Jordan Brand. And, a bunch of NBA players are finding out one more perk that comes with riding with the Jordan Brand during the NBA Playoffs—special PE sneakers that are created solely for the postseason.
Over the weekend, the 2013 NBA Playoffs started with 16 teams fighting for the chance to advance to the second round. Those 16 teams are filled with different Jordan Brand athletes who are also fighting for something else—mentions on sneaker blogs. As a result, guys like New York Knicks forward Carmelo Anthony, Los Angeles Clippers guard Chris Paul, Oklahoma City Thunder guard Russell Westbrook, Miami Heat guard Ray Allen, and Clippers forward Blake Griffin all showed off fresh Jordan PE kicks during their respective games. Anthony wore a special white Jordan Melo M9. Allen and Westbrook opted for a special Air Jordan XX8 that featured their team colors. And, CP3 went with the Jordan CP3.VI AE. Each sneaker was fully customized for each player and, in most cases, will not be available in stores. But the PE sneakers give players the chance to show off what they’re able to wear when they’re riding with the Jordan Brand.
