All indications are that Allen Iverson‘s personal life is in shambles right now. He’s having money issues. He’s having family issues. And, maybe worst of all, he’s struggling to figure out what to do next with his life. His basketball career is all but over, and he doesn’t seem too sure about what else he wants to do with his life. However, when it comes to sneakers, the guy is still producing! In the last year, we’ve seen him re-release a number of his Reebok signature sneakers. And it appears that he’s not quite finished yet when it comes to retro sneakers.

Reebok just announced that, following all of the success of the Reebok Question, they’re now going to be re-releasing the Reebok Answer I through Reebok Classics. The Answer I features a black/gold colorway and Reebok’s DMX technology and it was originally worn by AI during the 1997-98 NBA season. I can distinctly remember a time when this was the sneaker to wear on the basketball court. And, even though basketball sneakers have come a long way since then, I wouldn’t be surprised to see these make a comeback on the court. The nostalgia factor alone will make them attractive to anyone who grew up watching AI play ball.

You won’t have to wait very long to get your hands on these. Reebok doesn’t mess around when it comes to announcing sneakers and then putting them out. So you can expect to see these hit stores on May 24. We’re still not sure how much they’ll cost you yet. And we also only have this one photo of the Answer I available as of right now. But stay tuned, as we’ll definitely provide you with more information about this sneaker soon.

Will you be picking up the Answer I sneakers when they drops? And, if so, will you actually wear them on the court to play, or are you strictly picking them up for casual use? Let us know in the comments section below.
