Miley Cyrus‘ much talked-about relationship with fiancee Liam Hemsworth, 23, is causing the actress/singer to make a vow of silence.

The 20-year-old former Disney star’s relationship with her Hunger Games beau has recently made headlines with rumors swirling that the couple won’t ever make it down the aisle. In the June issue of Elle UK, the pixie blond attempts to set the record straight. “We have a house together and dogs,” she said. “It just seems right to be wearing this ring and to be committed. But we keep our relationship low-key and don’t talk about it anymore.”

With that in mind, the “Can’t Be Tamed” singer has decided to quit over-sharing with her fans, including her over 12 million Twitter followers. “We were too nice to the world and gave them too much insight—into my life and my puppies and my house—and I just don’t feel they get that privilege anymore,” Miley said. “Like on my Twitter, I’m much more…not conservative, but you don’t see a picture of my dogs. You don’t get that personal stuff anymore.”

Despite her need to keep some thing private, Miley isn’t shying away from showing a little extra skin. “A star is someone who doesn’t have to take her clothes off to be sexy because you naturally have star power. Sex does sell, but you have to find a way that’s not just showing your tits,” says the star who posed braless on the cover under a cotton and silk jacket by Lanvin. “I don’t want to be a glorified model. They just walk on stage and it’s all about their clothes—or lack of clothes.”

The June 2013 issue of  Elle UK hits newsstands on May 1. Do you agree with Miley’s decision to become a more private person or do you think stars forfeit that right when they become famous?
